i'm baaaack

so i know i've taken a REALLY long break from xanga , and alot has happend since then. i think one of my last posts was when i was moving before finals/graduation and my life was pretty much winding down at NPU. moved in with the healings this summer, hung out with carri and laurie and erikka pretty much everyday. nannied...alot...too much even. but whatever, it was my little taste to being a chicago mom. and i'm (back) at Park with a full time job. holla holla. but anyways: I've totally decided to start blogging again...it's just kind of refreshing to write out the day's events/thoughts and feelings. plus, i like reading other people's blogs so i thought hey, why not restart my own. plus blogger is "so much more cool" than xanga.

anyways: andrew and i just got back from caribou and had some really amazing talks. so refreshing when you can see a person every day and never really connect with them like you do over a really good soy latte (that was me...he prefers a caramel highrise). oh, did i mention i stopped drinking dairy? ya...i try not to eat it but tonight's cheese pizza at leaderzone was way too good. i have not really had dairy in about a week, and haven't really had meat (chicken/beef:excluding seafood) in about a week or two. i actually feel really good, and i am trying out so many new delicious recipes and products (warning: tangent). So i tried out "Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese" cream cheese...and it is AMAZING. I'm really excited to try out their Sour Cream Surprise stuff I've been reading about.

anyways: back to caribou. we just had so many amazing talks about our life in ministry, what that's going to look like. do we stay in the city? do we pray that we want to stay in the city? do we want to move to the west coast? do we want to take these next 4 years and become fluent in spanish and move to chile to do work with the covenant church their (ideal!) or do we want to stay at Park forever and ever and really invest in potential church planting youth ministry/outreach opportunities. we're planning on selling ourselves to our next job as a "packaged deal". hopefully they'll be looking for a youth pastor AND someone to do their outreach programming. haha. we'll see.
also just had some good theological talks. andrew is going to make an amazing teacher someday, i just love listening to him talk to me about his classes, and to see him get so excited makes me all gooey and fuzzy inside.

hmm...we will see where God brings us
